In that radio interview that was linked to earlier, Gilbert mentioned that he was mulling over a deal to do a reality TV show. While I’m doubting that he’ll end up pulling the trigger on the offer (just call it a gut feeling) it does stir the imagination about what a reality show with Gil would be like. If it goes through, here’s what you could expect:

Here’s Tom Heath’s latest column on Washington’s entrepreneurial set: Housing and financial services may be wheezing, but business is strong at Avitecture Inc., which installs and services audio-visual equipment for big names like Lockheed Martin, the National Gallery of Art, George Mason University and top secret government agencies. Avitecture’s revenue for the first seven months of 2008 is up 50 percent over last year, according to president Sid Lissner. “We’re on line for $27 to $30 million in revenues this year,” said Lissner, a soft spoken 64-year-old and a born salesman. “It blew me away.” What gives? A wind from the northwest has brought dewpoints down a notch from yesterday, so while it’s hot, it’s not too humid. This afternoon and evening will be great for outdoor activities as temperatures fall back from highs in the low 90s through the 80s prior to sunset. Tonight: Following the passage of a cold front, tonight will be cooler and humidity levels will fall some more. Skies will be mostly clear and temperatures should drop to around 60 in the suburbs and into the mid 60s for the District. A wind from the northeast will

Gilbert was a guest on Big O and Dukes show on WJFK today as part of the “Who do you know?” contest where listeners try to get a celebrity that they know call the Big O and Dukes show. You can listen to it here. As you would expect, Gilbert makes it interesting the whole time, talking about Halo, his new contract, how he feels about the one year college rules, and he talks about what he’d like to see done with the team’s uniforms. He also talks about possibly
